Nestlé Recalls Some Kit Kat Chocolate Bars that May Contain Glass

Nestlé South Africa is recalling some of its Kit Kat chocolate bars due to the possibility that they may contain glass pieces. 

News24 reports the company issued a statement on Thursday about the recall of the chocolate bars. 

In the statement, Nestle said while it has not received any complaints or reported injuries, they are taking this action out of an abundance of caution after small pieces of glass was discovered during quality and safety checks. 

Nestle said customers who may have purchased the Kit Kat chocolate bars should not consume them but should instead return them to the place where they were purchased, for a full refund.

The recall affects the products listed below – No other sizes or other Kit Kat products are affected.
