Joburg Water to Close Reservoirs in Lenasia South due to Critically Low Levels & Excessive Demand

Johannesburg Water has announced it will be closing the Lenasia Hospital Hills and Lenasia High Level Reservoirs.

The water utility said the water levels are critically low due to excessive demand.

Johannesburg Water said it will be isolating Lenasia Hospital Hills, Lenasia High Level and Lawley reservoir from 3pm on Sunday and will reinstate water at 16pm.

“Affected areas include parts of Lenasia South, Zakarya Park, Vlakfontein, Lehae, Migson Manor, Finetown and Lawley extension 2”
