Police Arrest Four Drug Dealers in Lenasia South

Four suspects have been arrested  on drug related charges in two separate police operations in the Lenasia South area. 

In the first incident, a 23-year-old suspect was arrested in the Phumla Mqashi informal settlement shortly after midday on Tuesday.

The suspect was found in possession of crystal meth and dagga and charged with possession of drugs.

A short while later, police arrested three people  at one of the houses identified as a drug den in Mount Kullal street ,Lenasia South extension 4.

The police’s Kalipha Mvula said the trio have been charged with possession of drugs.

“Two males aged 21 and 36 years old as well as a 38 year old female were arrested following the discovery of thirty nine  mandrel tablets while conducting a search on the premises. The arrested suspects are set to appear in court in due course once they are formally charged.”

Mvula has urged the public to continue  providing police with information that may lead to the arrest of drug dealers.
