Body of Woman Found Dumped in Lenasia South Veld
Police are investigating a case of murder after a woman’s body was found in an open veld in Lenasia South.
It is understood a member of the public had gone to the open veld near Daxina Clinic to dump garbage on Tuesday when he made the grim discovery and contacted police.
The police’s Kalipha Mvula said the motive behind the murder has not yet been established
“Upon examining the body it was established that the deceased had her throat slit with what is suspected to have been a sharp object. The deceased is a young African female estimated to be in her early twenties. Her identity has not yet been established at this stage.”
Mvula has urged anyone that can identify the women or information that can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to contact police.
