Eight Arrested in Mpumalanga for Kidnapping & Human Trafficking

Eights suspects have been arrested for kidnapping and human trafficking in Mpumalanga. 

Police, the Hawks and other authorities received information about the abduction of five foreign nationals who were being held against their will. 

Security group Vision Tactical who assisted in the rescue operation said the foreign nationals were rescued on a small holding near Delmas. 

“Five foreign nationals were kept locked in the room and deprived of basic living human conditions. Victims were kept locked in the room for 17 days while their families were being contacted for ransom. A total of 8 suspects were arrested.”

Police confiscated various items including firearms, passports and drugs. 

Vision Tactical said the suspects may be linked to other kidnappings and human trackings.
