Man Seriously Injured After Bike Collides with Car in Killarney
A man believed to be in his 30s was seriously injured after a vehicle and motorbike collided on Riviera Road in Killarney.
Paramedics say they arrived on scene and found the biker lying on the side of the road.
ER24’s Russel Meiring said the driver of the car was unhurt.
“Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition. The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before being transported to Helen Joesph Provincial Hospital for further care. The driver of the light motor vehicle, fortunately, escaped injury.”
Meiring said local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
