Man with Gunshot Wound Found Dead in Minibus Taxi Near Potchefstroom

A man believed to be in his late 30s has been found dead in a stationary taxi on the N12 outside Potchefstroom.

Paramedics says the man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. 

ER24’s Ross Campbell said local authorities were on scene for further investigations.

“ER24 paramedics were called to the scene after passers-by flagged down the Traffic Police. The man was found slumped over the two front seats of the taxi and showed no signs of life. He was declared dead on arrival.”
