[WATCH] Emotional Sheikh Saud Al-Shuraim Speak About Parents Being the Gates to Paradise During Friday Sermon

Makkah Imam, Sheikh Saud Al-Shuraim has delivered a heart wrenching sermon about the value of both parents and treating them well because they are one of the gates to Jannah or paradise. 

Sheikh Shuraim was rendering his sermon in the Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia on Friday. 

During the sermon, Sheikh Shuraim broke down in tears when speaking about the importance of parents. 

Sheikh Shuraim said both parents are like the sun and moon to their children throughout their life where the father is the sun, through his exertion earns for his family during the day and the mother like the moon staying up and caring for her children throughout the night 

“No one will love you like your parents, they won’t give you everything you want, but they give you everything they have Oh Allah, grant us their righteousness, guide us, and open our chests.”

Sheikh Shuraim said part of what brings happiness to children is having both their parents alive so that he can drink from the spring that flows by way of treating them well, be quenched by the cup of their affection and find shade in pleasing them. 

Sheikh Shuraim said both his parents are like his two wings as he flies through the sky that is this world and its temporary embellishments.
