Two Killed, One Wounded in Kempton Park Shootings
Two people have been shot dead and another wounded in two separate incidents in Kempton Park.
The details surrounding the shootings are unclear.
ER24’s Russel Meiring says in the first shooting, paramedics arrived on scene and found a man with a gunshot wound.
“ER24 arrived on Monument Road to find a man, believed to be in his 40s, lying in the middle of the road surrounded by SAPS members. Assessments showed that the man had sustained a gunshot wound to his hip. The man was treated and later transported to Tembisa hospital for further care.”
Meiring says in the second incident, medics found a light motor vehicle riddled with bullet holes parked in the middle of the road.
“Two men, believed to be in their 40s, were lying in the car. Medics assessed the men and found that they had already succumbed to their numerous gunshot wounds. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead.”
Meiring says local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
