Huawei MateBook B Series improves PC Security in the Work-from-Home Era

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Global technology giant Huawei has deeply integrated cyber security technologies into its digital products, services and platforms to challenge any eventuality including the emergence of COVID-19 and the need for people to work from home.

The company provides reliable solutions for a range of industries, builds network-wide proactive defence systems for enterprises, and provides end-to-end security assurance.

In its PCs, it is similarly fastidious and nowhere more than the newly launched Huawei MateBook B Series for enterprise businesses that want to improve their companies’ productivity.

Featuring all-new processors and displays, the MateBook B Series delivers improved reliability and security, and offers a seamless experience for professionals embracing an all-scenario, AI-enabled working life.

Three of the series’ laptops – the MateBook B7-410, B3-520 and B3-420 – are available in South Africa, and each comes with security features designed to meet today’s stringent demands.

The laptops come standard with a discrete Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 security chip that supports the latest TPM 2.0 Library. This ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your information. TPM is a standard cryptographic coprocessor that secures hardware based on a tamper-evident key.

The Huawei MateBook B Series also features a fingerprint power button that biometrically authenticates your identity when you turn on the device, taking you directly to your desktop in one simple step.

And the recessed camera has been designed to resolve potential security issues, too. Hidden away in the keyboard, the camera is neither exposed nor on when it’s not in use. To use it, all you have to do is press it and it will pop up, thus helping to protect those who are concerned about privacy.

Its performance and aesthetics include an up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, that handles complex workloads effortlessly, and comes standard with a 56Wh battery and a 65W portable fast charger to support longer usage.

The Huawei MateBook B Series range of laptops can be bought through Pinnacle and Mustek.
