To commemorate the tenth anniversary of Steve Jobs passing, Apple has changed its homepage on Apple.com

The homepage Apple.com also includes pictures and a link to a short film that captures some of Jobs most memorable quotes and moments at Apple’s helm and a statement from the Jobs family.

Jobs and Steve Wozniak founded Apple on April 1, 1976 introducing groundbreaking technology products starting with the Apple One.

Following a long-running battle with cancer, Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple on 24 August 2011.

He returned to Apple as interim CEO as the tech giant faced bankruptcy and developed the colorful iMac designed by Jonathan Ive.

Jobs planned to continue as chairman of the board but passed away only a couple months later on October 5, 2011, just one day after the iPhone 4S was announced at an Apple product briefing.

With Jobs’ recommendation and support of the board, Tim Cook took over as permanent CEO.
