Comic Con Africa Announces Next Live Show Dates and a New Home!

Comic Con Africa has that its next live event will take place in September 2022 after extensive engagement with fans, exhibitors, and sponsors.

The organisers say they have performed their due diligence and determined that waiting until 22 – 25 September 2022 is the safest option especially with the current third wave of the Coronavirus. 

 Comic Con Africa Show Director, Carla Massmann says the decision has not been taken lightly. 

“The safety of our fans, exhibitors and partners comes first. Returning in September 2022, also makes it possible for Comic Con Africa to come back in the expected full force  with bigger numbers, more activations and international talent”.

Comic Con Africa will also move to a new venue in 2022 to the Johannesburg Expo Centre. Previously it was held at the Gallagher Estate in Midrand. 

Fans of Comic Con Africa will also be happy to hear that the extensive space at the Johannesburg Expo Cenre allows for the return of the very popular Food Truck Village and other themed outdoor areas. 

Telkom will be the official gaming and connectivity partner of Comic Con Africa. 

Massmann Comic Con Africa miss the fans and they look forward to welcoming them back in September 2022 to a safe environment.
