6-Year-Old Girl Becomes Youngest Person in Pakistan to Memorize Holy Qur’an

A six-year-old girl Pakistani girl has become the youngest person in that country to memorize the entire holy Qur’an with Tajweed. 

According to Startup Pakistan, Maysam Yahya Mohamed started  memorizing the Quran when she was three years old through the Tahfiz sessions organised by the Sharjah Foundation for the Qur’an and Sunnah in the Masaajid. 

Mohamed’s mother says  her daughter also won seventh place in the Sheikh Zayed Holy Qur’an Competition and was the youngest candidate among the competitors. 

 “I discovered her talent when she began learning talking. She was always repeating the Quran verses, which she hears in radio stations and television channels. Then, I started teaching her the short surahs in home and later I took her to a mosque in Khorfakkan, where she learnt the rules of correct reciting and continued memorising the holy Qur’an.”

Mohamed was also honoured by the Holy Qur’an Radio in the emirate of Sharjah.
