4 Killed, 8 injured in Mokopane Crash

Four people have been killed and 8 others injured following a collision between a truck and a car on the N1 South.
The accident happened near Mokopane on Thursday morning.
It is not yet clear what caused the accident.
Paramedics says when they arrived on scene, they found the front end of a vehicle stuck underneath the rear of a truck.
ER24 says four people were trapped in the car.
“Unfortunately, all four of them had sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead at the scene. Two patients were found to have sustained critical injuries. ER24 immediately initiated advanced life support interventions before transporting them to hospital for further medical care. Six patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate and was treated and transported to hospital by various other medical services at the scene.”
ER24 says police were on the scene for further investigations.
