36-Year Old Man Arrested for Smashing Constitutional Court Windows

Gauteng police have confirmed that a 36-year old man has been arrested for allegedly breaking windows at the Constitutional Court in Johannesburg.

Police say they responded to the scene on Tuesday where they found the suspect breaking the windows using a hammer

It is understood that police fired a warning shot after the suspect continued to break the windows even after being ordered to stop.

“He has been charged with malicious damage to property, the suspect’s court appearance
will be confirmed in due course.”
