We all have those days where you have to drag yourself out of bed to go to work. This could be due to a late night, fatigue or even work burnout.
But how do you know that you have work burnout?
Job burnout has been described as “an extended period of time where someone experiences exhaustion and a lack of interest in things, resulting in a decline in their job performance.”
The American Psychological Association’s David Ballard says a lot of burnout really has to do with experiencing chronic stress.
“In those situations, the demands being placed on you exceed the resources you have available to deal with the stressors.”
