11-Year-Old Child Dies after Being Hit by Bus in Lawley

An 11-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a bus in Lawley, south of Johannesburg.

It is understood the bus was travelling from Johannesburg to Lawley on Monday when the accident happened.

Lethal Forces Shahiem Ismail says local authorities were on scene for further investigations.

“A little 11-year-old girl crossed the road and ran right into the bus and the bus drove over her. Unfortunately she succumbed to her injuries and she was declared dead on the scene.”
